Will Smith V Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is the greatest - Yes? 
For me. No.
I get  a little dismissive of people who lecture me about all these wonderful things I 'should' do 
but don't give me the means to do it.
I generally avoid 'shoulds', 'musts', 'have to's' and 'need to's' like the plague
as they tend to be guilt trips imposed by others.
As a therapist I value and respect the  beliefs that cause our emotions that cause our thoughts.
Therefore, in my opinion, it is more productive to work on your beliefs
and, I don't know about you but I generally need some help with my beliefs 
that are tucked away in my subconscious mind.

Will Smith speaks eloquently about his beliefs
and how he has brought to fruition the seeds his family planted in his upbringing.
To me he shows that we have to build our lives 'one brick at a time' and that this is a constant evolution.
If you do not have that brick then it is OK to ask someone to help you find or create it.
'This is where skill comes in to play.' We can learn these therapeutic skills in order to deal with unhelpful thoughts or we can work with the energy that caused the underlying belief; that is the initial event.

Your words and thoughts have physical power.

In life many people wonder why things don't always go the way 
they want them to but do not realize that in every thought they 
think and words they speak starts the physical formation
of what begins to appears in our lives. It is normal to have negative 
thoughts from time to time because we do not live in a perfect world,
Or Do We? The key is when a thought like that shows 
up you just need to make the decision whether or not you want to 
entertain that though for a long time or if you want to change the path 
to a better one immediately. This is where skill comes in to play.
With all things you must practice to make perfect, all though some 
are borne with more talent than other, anyone can hone the skills of 
being discipline and beat their fears into submission. 
it was once said "your biggest fear should be fear itself" I would have 
to say this is pretty right on. Why? Because fear is a negative emotion 
and because of fear you tend to pay more attention
to it which starts the physical birth of some kind of reaction. 
This is why most people that fear that they are going to get hurt get 
hurt more than the rest. Or think they are going to be sick and 
then it happens. If you fear that you don’t have enough money to 
pay the bills and speak and think these thoughts and words everyday
then guess what, You are creating the physical reaction to
show up in your life. This is why it is good to marinate yourself in 
unconditional love and positive good words and belief that good things are 
heading your way at all times. You deserve it, It is your birth right.
Own it. except it. enjoy it. Live it. know it is in your escrow. more and more, every 
moment. and when the other thoughts of fear come, Do Not Entertain
it. leave it behind and get right back on track with the truth!
Live every moment of this life like there is no tomorrow, because it is 
not a rehearsal. So Start getting from it what is yours. GREATNESS!!!

A brief history of health

What is your definition of health?
When asked, many people define health as not being sick. This is usually a very limited definition. You can not actually be sick, but have feelings of sadness or low energy – does this mean you are healthy? Likewise, if someone is on antidepressants, or another type of drug, would they be considered healthy or not?

The body and mind are constantly evolving and in a state of change… and as long,
as someone can recover from any sudden change, then we can consider them healthy.
For example, a person may develop a bad cold  or feel depressed after losing their jobs. This is OK and can be considered healthy as long as recovering from such events can be done promptly.

Health can be defined as being in a healthy state of balance.
You are an amazing self-rebalancing organism. In fact everybody is and the medical term 
of this process is called homeostasis. We self-regulate constantly, without thinking.
Emotions, trauma, toxins, food and physical activity will influence a myriad of parameters,
such as heart rate, blood sugar levels or sweating. It is estimated that there may be more than
10 million processes being constantly re-balanced in our bodies.
If some of these parameters stay out of balance for too long, then symptoms will start to develop,
as our homeostatic capabilities will be stretched. This is when disease arises. 
Medically, disease is defined as an inability to achieve balance naturally (homeostasis).
This is why a health check will monitor a series of metrics, such as heart rate, blood glucose levels and so on.  This will give a picture of our ability to stay in balance.

Two philosophies of treatment – interventionist or holistic
Holistic approaches, such as homeopathy or acupuncture and modern conventional medicine sometimes appear at loggerheads because their approaches to restoring health or balance
are completely opposite. To restore balance and health, conventional medicine usually uses chemical means to force the patient’s body to get back into correct metrics.
Conversely, homeopaths, and other alternative practitioners, will try and understand
how an imbalance arose in the first place, and define a strategy to let the body’s vitality
(“chi” in acupuncture or “vital force” in homeopathy) to re-balance and sort itself out.

Neither system is better and one may be more relevant at some specific times and under some circumstances and of course depending on the patient. An expert practitioner, either conventional 
or a homeopath, will understand this and work accordingly with his or her patients’  specific needs. 
The pros and cons of both approaches are described in the next page.

In the West, these differing principles of healing started in Ancient Greece,
and to understand them, it is worth talking a bit about History.

Health in the Western World – How it all started
From the beginnings of time, people have tried to reduce death or diseases in a variety of ways, using trials and errors. The use of healing plants began with the hunting and gathering societies which wandered over the globe some 50,000 years ago. The specific cultivation of medicinal plants 
to treat diseases developed with the advent of agriculture around 5 to 10,000 years ago.
At this time, the healing powers of herbs and plants were probably seen as a mix of two conflicting philosophies. One was the belief that the plants had the ability to eradicate specific disease
or symptoms (intervention). The other principle was based on vital force (or vitalism), 
a concept that disease would only arise in an imbalanced organism/person. 
Herbs were then used to help to re-balance that person.

Enter Hippocrates
Hippocrates (c. 460-675 BC), is regarded as being the Founding Father of Western Medicine,
and he was a major proponent of the Vitalistic approach. He refused to use the Gods to explain illness. He implemented a logical system of medicine based on understanding what had caused
the patient to produce disease or symptoms, and how best to re-balance the vital energies (“humors”) of the sick. He was probably influenced by concepts coming from Black Africa, Egypt
and the Chinese systems of healing. Hippocrates focused healing on the patient’s vital energies instead of spiritual or external energy. This is why he stipulated that as a health practitioner,
you should “first do no harm”. He and his followers after him, believed in the natural healing powers 
of the body, and that it was wrong to act against them.
Hippocrates had laid down two key principles of homeopathy: first, that the sick patient
was a self-balancing system, which required regulating through the gentlest means possible.
He also postulated that the best way to achieve this was by using the Law of Similarity,
a principle that a substance that would cause or create similar symptoms could be used
to regulate the patient into optimal health
After his death, and in opposition to the Hippocratic school, came the  Cnidians who believed
in intervening by prescribing high doses of herbs to relieve the symptoms of a disease,
without thorough investigation of the symptoms and their causes. 
This was easier for the practitioner, as there was no need for a thorough individualised analysis.

The Middle Ages: the mixing of religion and healing
After the fall of the Roman Empire, the monastic centres of Europe kept the vitalistic traditions
of medicine alive, and prosecuted anyone who was perceived to use medicine without its consent. With the advent of universities and printing presses in Europe, the dominance of religious centres over medicine started to wane and became more mainstream. A new current of Medicine started
in the Renaissance and challenged the Christian’s Church teaching on healing.
They started to dissect human bodies and experiment with potent poisons.
Paracelsus (1493 – 1541) became one of the most influential medical teachers of his time.
He was a Swiss Renaissance physician and doctor, who re-discovered and took on board most
of the vitalistic concepts of Hippocrates away from the Church. In opposition to many of his contemporaries, he was giving diluted doses, and used herbs for their opposite effects on the body: for example, he was commonly prescribing very small doses of Helleborus plants to treat diarrhoea because huge consumption of these plants were known to cause diarrhoea.
Paracelsus set up medical principles and one of his key-principles, still quoted and used today,
was that “All things are poison, and nothing is without poison; only the dose permits something
not to be poisonous”. This principle laid the foundations of the biphasic approaches of treatment.

The Renaissance and the schism in healing thoughts
A split began to develop in how healing was practiced during the “age of rationalism”, 
around the 1700s. Educated doctors moved away from the vitalistic concepts of medicine. 
They sought ways to make the herbs & medicine more concentrated. 
The principle of using herbs or minerals for specific symptoms, without investigating the patient’s 
individual case became more and more common. It was the heyday of “heroic medicine” and herbs were combined and then replaced with what was seen as more potent substances, such as opium, arsenic or mercury which were of course toxic to people.
Because of increased cases of  poisoning or death of patients, many countries in continental Europe enacted laws that prevented lay people from prescribing or even using herbal medicine.
The commercial business of producing and selling herbs started to be also more tightly regulated.

The Beginnings of Homeopathy
Homeopathy emerged during this period, as a reaction to ‘heroic medicine’. 
It was founded by a group of German medical doctors who became disillusioned with 
the seriously damaging side-effects of the drugs they were taught to use.
They started to study the old texts of medicine and to revive the concepts of vitalism.
However, they also sought to apply a more rigorous and scientific approach to the principles
of healing and this was the foundation of Homeopathy.
Samuel Hahnemann (1755 – 1843) is considered the founding father of homeopathy.
He was very meticulous and a medical doctor by profession. His aim was to lay down a logical
and methodical process of healing, which could be backed by clinical observation.
He was strongly influenced by Hippocrates and Paracelsus and laid down principles 
to use the body’s own vitality as a healing platform – the principles of vitalism.

Are Miracles Inconsistent with Science and Logic?

If you mention the word ‘miracle’ to almost any one from the West you’ll get a variety of reactions. Some people may laugh at you and call you superstitious. Others may tell you to step into the 21st century. Still others may argue with you about the scientific impossibility of miraculous events.

Compatible with Science and Logic or Not?

Many people believe that miraculous things are possible, but they are too often viewed as 
anti-science and anti-logic. But are they? The real question is whether or not miracles 
are opposed to Science and Logic. Do they contradict all the scientific advancements 
that have been made in the modern age? Or is it simply that they exist above and beyond rational explanations, in a realm that cannot YET be explained? You might not be able to put them under 
a microscope or measure miraculous things in a test tube, but is it possible to embrace 
both logic and miracles?

Joy and Wonder

Miracles go beyond the intellectualism which has permeated the West for the past few hundred years. In other parts of the world, there is much more permission in society for the existence of miracles. 
For example, in South America there is a whole branch of Literature called “magical realism”, 
where the presence of the supernatural events and miracles is accepted as being as much a part 
of life as “logical events”. There is an acceptance that there are many dimen­sions to life. 
So energetically, there is a lot of permission for life to exist on multiple levels and for spirit and energy to be a part of normal life.

Many people in the West are currently searching for a deeper, more spiritual existence. 
For those who embrace the potential for miracles, this can be a great source of joy. 
The belief in miracles evokes a sense of wonder that so many people have lost.

A World of Miraculous Energies

Modern science now shows us that everything is energy. Many people believe that in certain parts 
of the world, there are miraculous energies which can be accessed by those who are open to them. Ancient sites around the world have been considered as sources of power for ages. 
The original peoples in these locations understood that miracles could be a part of regular life. 
Their beliefs were much more integrated, instead of being fragmented like beliefs are in modern times. Can we get back to that way of being?

Are We Open to Miracles?

We have to ask ourselves whether or not we are open to miraculous things. 
Are we willing to experience things which we may not be easily explained? 
Can we live with things which are out of the ordinary, but which might also be life changing? 
Are we open to the energies of the world and the benefits that they can bring? 
Only you can decide whether or not you will embrace the miraculous.

Dalai Lama >Art Giser >M'reen

In 2010 I took levels 1 and 2 of Art Gieser’s Energetic- NLP programme held in London;
and since then I’ve tuned into many of his webinars
and my experiences have ranged from nothing perceptible to being really profound.
I must point out that ‘nothing perceptible’ does not mean that ‘nothing’ happened.
When Art is explaining his background he always mentions that he’s had two Empowerments
by the Dalai Lama; the person outside of my  immediate experience that I admire most in the world.
Later in this particular session, unusually, someone asked Art to describe his own development.
Art briefly re-mentioned his Empowerments by the Dalai Lama
and I immediately experienced a strong Line from the Dalai Lama to Art and a slightly lesser line from Art to myself and maybe my after thoughts or ego may have added a fainter line
directly from the Dalai Lama to myself.

Regardless as to what any healing presenter is working with
I always work with relieving the Chronic Fatigue that I’ve struggled with for the last 14-15 years.
I have refused to accept the label of CFS/ME during this time even though the fullness of my life
has been compromised. I have worked extensively with myself and a wide variety of practitioners using different healing modalities.

Curiously some days before Art’s webinar my doctor informed me that people who have CFS/ME
do loose muscle mass and that it becomes increasingly difficult for them to use what muscle
they have and that it takes longer for the body to heal.
This came as a really big shock to me and the implications for my future life were most unpleasant!
I really needed time to morn my assumed lack of potential while recognising the trials
and challenges I do not have that others have to contend with daily.
Therefore I was feeling obliged to recognise and accept CFS/ME and its limitations
as increasing the things I simply cannot do or achieve in my current and future life.

What did I experience when this line formed from the Dalia Lama through Art to myself?

I guess the Dalai Lama was positioned in front and a little to my left at about 7 minutes to.
Art, was quite strong, and positioned closer to the Dalai Lama than myself
at 13/14 minutes to the hour but at a line drawn down from 10 to 20 to the hour to me.
The line from Art to myself was like a splash back, an excess of energy that came to me
or that Art was my connection with the Dalai Lama.
I felt energy in my head as is often usual and this is a confusion of energy that cannot escape.
The energy passed down my body in, for want of a better description, a square tube which became tapered and ended about 3 inches below my navel as a definite hook pointing forwards.
At this time, I tried to influence healing; an understandable but not recommended action?
As I write this I can feel great warmth around my navel which is always pleasing.
I urged the healing tube up to my throat where things stopped and often do stop,
I think the healing radiated out in spokes. Right now an area in my throat feels constricted.
I think I got the healing higher where it again radiated out in spokes.

I could give a daily account of my subsequent experience
however I think that is only interesting to me.
The reason I write this is because accounts I have read stop at the healing
and I often wonder what happened afterwards.

Day 5 I am tired, but, like the previous days I’ve simply not got around to going to bed.
Previously : I know that a half hour timed sleep will not work,
                   I know that ignoring my tiredness or trying to work through it will not work.
I therefore used my pendulum to dowse if I should either:
~  Wait for the Healing from the Dalai Lama through Art take its natural time.
~  Use the programme I bought from Art.
~  Use one of the other healing MP3 programmes I have.
~ Use my own skills.
I received a strong positive response to letting the healing mature in its own time.
I got the neutral position with the other questions but that these would be independently beneficial.
My ‘fear’ was based on my two previous experiences of being 95% free of CF for 
some part of two weeks before everything collapsed.

29 days later.
At first my body was so very physically tired,
after all, it was suddenly being expected to be vertical for 14 consecutive hours!
This tiredness reduced to a number of five minute periods throughout the day.
These reduced to once a day and during these periods I admit to feeling a despairing panic as I was afraid of everything collapsing and being consumed by the tiredness that had blighted my life.
However, from the moment of healing I was absolutely confident that the healing was complete and that I could plan my day and future as a person who naturally expects to be awake for their full day.
For the last three days I’ve not experienced this five minutes of tiredness even though
I don’t wake in the morning feeling refreshed and my muscles still are weak.

I am so very, very grateful to regain my life. 
Unfortunately, this healing didn't hold.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Stress

We all experience varying levels and lengths of stress, triggered by an array of scenarios –
some logical, others not. Managing this powerful emotional and physiological response to adverse
or demanding circumstances comes more naturally to some, but can certainly be taught
to even the most nervous of them all.
The first step to controlling stress is to know your own personal anxiety, down to its deepest core. What causes your stress? What alleviates it? What affect is it having on your mind and body
and what can you do to stop it?
To assist you on your journey of stress-discovery, here are five truths about stress
that you may not know – but definitely need to be made aware of.

1. Stress is contagious.
Anyone interacting with someone who’s stressed, especially for prolonged periods of time,
has an increased risk of being affected by empathetic stress.
Caregivers and family members of chronically stressed individuals are most at risk here,
but even watching TV shows involving confrontations of stress can transmit the tension.
This empathetic stress negatively impacts the immune system and is toxic to the mind and body
in the long term. 
Know your limits when it comes to how much stress you can healthily expose yourself to. 
Also, be cognizant of how your worry may be negatively impacting those around you.
If you reach out to a sorrowful friend, a mourning parent, or a downhearted colleague
who has suffered a sudden reversal of fortune or fate, be careful not to be 
overcome yourself by the apparent hardship.
Remember to discriminate events themselves and your interpretations of them.
It is not a demonstration of kindness or friendship to the people we care about to join them
in surrendering to negative feelings. We do a better service to ourselves and others
by remaining detached and avoiding unnecessary emotional reactions.
Still, if you are associated with someone who is depressed, stressed or hurt, show them kindness
and give them a sympathetic ear; just don’t allow yourself to be pulled down.

2. Stress is detrimental to Sperm.
Stress can and will seep into every facet of your life if you let it, including the bedroom.
Stressed men are found to have fewer, slower sperm, which can diminish fertility.
While not conclusive yet as to how stress affects the quality of semen, it is possible that stress
may trigger steroid hormones known to blunt levels of testosterone and sperm production.

3. Two stressed people equals less stress.
Seems counterintuitive, yes. But, when especially stressed, it is extremely helpful to 
share your feelings with someone who is having a similar anxious reaction to the same situation.
Consider giving a presentation at work – perhaps nothing will ease your stress more than talking it out with a colleague who is undergoing the same scenario. Studies show that there is tremendous benefit gained by conversing with others whose emotional response is in line with your own.

4. Optimists are better at regulating stress.
A glass-half-full mentality may be the ticket to a more stress-free life.
The “stress hormone” cortisol tends to be more stable for those with positive personalities. 
Pessimists have difficulty regulating their emotional and physical responses to particularly stressful situations. Optimists tend to be more solution-oriented and thus better react to the stress hormone – allowing it to amplify their get-up-and-go attitudes.

5. Not all stress is bad.
While stress is oftentimes the enemy, we can’t ignore its ability to push us to optimal alertness
and performance. Short, but significant bouts of stress cause our brains to proliferate new nerve cells that improve mental performance. Stress hormones are an incredible adaptation that provide us with the ability to remember not only anxiety-ridden situations themselves, but more importantly, how will dealt with them – ingraining us with the power of resiliency, allowing us to be ready for whatever life may throw our way. Like most things in life, stress is only beneficial in small doses. Chronic stress leads to increased risk of 
chronic obesity, heart disease and depression.

My experience of Reflective Repatterning with Theta Healing.

For the last 14 years I have explained to people that I have CFS/ME
because it is something of which people have a vague awareness.
I have never accepted that label as according to the generally accepted Canadian profile for CFS/ME
you have to show 9(?) of the 12 symptoms and I’ve not fully managed that count.
Over the last 14 years I have worked with a variety of therapists using a wide range of disciplines  one of which was Chris Millbank’s demonstration of Reflective Repattening during a webinar.
After this session and a number of year’s previously I felt 95-8% awake and functioning
for two weeks before it all collapsed.
A few weeks ago, I spent maybe 20 minutes with Roy who combined Reflective Repatterning 
with Theta Healing and had the most amazing experience.
I felt that my sternum was very badly bruised as if it had been selectively stabbed or crushed
about 8cm / 3 inches long above where you imagine your heart to be. This was almost painful.
It felt to be gouged out. Touching that area now some 8 hours later and the area feels sore.
We worked releasing this sensation until it was almost gone.
At one point I felt as though there was joyful energy trying to push the pain out.
I have never experienced painful energy before and I never expected to experience discomfort now.
I am very used to working with and releasing energy.
As a therapist I am aware that sometimes more than one session is necessary; as to release all of an issue may not be possible at once or to release all of the issue may not be in that person’s interest.
A few hours ago part of me felt tired and I know that it is foolish to ignore such a feeling.
BUT, a part of me was feeling enthusiastic (a new feeling) so as I had done when leaving Roy
I used some energy techniques of my own to release the ‘tired’ energy and welcome vibrant energy.
I have stayed awake simply because I’ve stayed awake.
While working with Roy I recalled a very early Past Life I experienced as a student of Past life Therapy and the student working with me did not do the necessary healing.
I have checked out past life reasons for my tiredness in the past and had a negative response so was this a holding onto the lack of healing in this life – even though I’ve tried to do that healing myself?
Or is my mind coming up with a reason as our minds are programmed to create reasons?
As a 9 year old girl, I was a Mayan sacrifice, to cut a long story short, my present self had no idea
that they did, in fact, gouge out the beating heart!!!!
When I went to bed I was thinking about my experience with Roy and touched my sternum
and it felt sore! I then spent quite a long time working with healing energy and the sternum area – 
not the heart chakra – felt warm and of a different shape; eventually this included my abdomen.
The Mayan’s had given me a drug to make me compliant but while I was basically catatonic
they were unaware that my abdomen was screaming with pain.
This healing took a long time until I either forgot or went to sleep.
When I awoke my thought was to welcome this vibrant day.
Vibrant being the word/energy used when working with Roy.
After a few hours awake I started to feel tired, using my pendulum I (as usual) could not confirm
a Past Life connection to my tiredness. I didn’t get a negative result to that particular life
just a neutral result. However I did get a confirmation that there was an emotional component 
which I’ve not as yet been able to release.
After lunch time I really felt that I would have to go to bed as 14 years of experience has taught me not to ‘fight’ this need however I continued with what I was doing maybe at 90% for the rest of the day. However, everything fell apart and my day time chronic fatigue was just as bad as ever.
Now, the question is: ‘was my work with Roy a waste of time?’ Absolutely not.
Some healing definitely happened it’s just that I can’t put a name to what exactly was healed.
Also, that healing may or may not be part of the jigsaw that when finished will result in
the Chronic Fatigue I experience as being at thing of the past.
You will notice that my past life experience doesn't gel exactly with Wikipedia. So!

Wikipedia:   Heart removal

During the Postclassic period (c. 900-1524) the most common form of human sacrifice was heart extraction, influenced by the method used by the Aztecs in the Valley of Mexico; this usually took place in the courtyard of a temple, or upon the summit of the pyramid-temple. The sacrifice was stripped and painted blue, which was the colour representing sacrifice, and was made to wear a peaked headdress. Four blue-painted attendants representing the four Chaacs of the cardinal directions stretched the sacrifice out over a convex stone that pushed the victim's chest upwards; An official referred to as a nacom in Landa's Relación de las cosas de Yucatán used a sacrificial knife made from flint to cut into the ribs just below the victim's left breast and pull out the still-beating heart. Ouch! The nacom then passed the heart to the officiating priest, or chilan, who smeared blood upon the image of the temple's deity. Depending upon the exact ritual, sometimes the four Chaacs would throw the corpse down the pyramid steps to the courtyard below where it would be skinned by assistant priests, except for the hands and feet. The chilan would then remove his ritual attire and dress himself in the skin of the sacrificial victim before performing a ritual dance that symbolised the rebirth of life. If it was a notably courageous warrior who had been sacrificed then the corpse would be cut into portions, and parts would be eaten by attending warriors and other bystanders. The hands and feet were given to the chilan who, if they had belonged to a war captive, wore the bones as a trophy. Achaeological investigations indicate that heart sacrifice was practised as early as the Classic period.
